Paper
Paper media is used in all receipt printers. Rolls are often purchasable in 6 roll packs, and 24 or 50 roll cases. Most manufacturers have proprietary paper media that is cut specifically for their printer models. Most receipt printers are close enough in specification, and are capable of swapping in another printer paper media in a pinch.
Depending on your printer type, how many printers you have, the jobs you want your printers to perform, you'll be choosing between standard paper, thermal paper, one-ply paper, 2-ply paper, premium paper, or some combination of the aforementioned types. If you run a service industry style business, you may use a thermal paper at your front counter since customers are merely acquiring a receipt for their purchase.
If you have a restaurant or food service available through your business, you may also want to have an impact printer with one or two-ply paper, to avoid the heat issues that can affect thermal paper.
