Return Policy (Request RMA)
Unless noted in the table below, most products can be returned directly to totalbarcode.com within 15 days from the date of invoice if all of the following requirements are met. Items returned must first be issued a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number. RMA numbers are valid for 15 days only. Please allow 2-4 weeks to process refunds and credit your account. Our Return Policy for software is consistent with the manufacturer’s license agreement. For certain items all sales are final and returns are not available, see below for more information.
Products can returned or exchanged 15 days from the date of invoice. In order for the return to be accepted, all products must 1) Be returned in their original packaging, 2) Include all manuals, cables, warranty cards, etc., 3) Be clean, without scratches and factory sealed. All products must be returned double boxed, with no markings or writing on the original manufacturer box. If a product shows signs that the entire product and packaging was removed from its original box, a refund may be denied resulting in shipment of the product back to the customer. Freight charges are not refundable. Customer is responsible for shipping costs on returned items. If the returned item meets all the above requirements, it will be accepted, and a restocking fee will be applied depending on the sale value of the returned items:
The following products are not eligible for returns or exchanges:
- Receipt Paper, Barcode Label Media, Printer Ribbons
- Printheads or other replacement printer parts
- Access Cards
- Software
- Service Contracts
- Communications Equipment, including telecommunications hardware/software
General Inventory Restocking Fees:
- 5% Restocking Fee -- Packaging is intact for the item being returned, and the customer is reordering another product.
- 10% Restocking Fee -- Packaging is intact for the item being returned, but the customer is not reordering another product.
- 15-20% Restocking Fee -- Packaging is not intact or damaged for the item being returned, and the product is in resalable condition. Item being returned is past standard return policy (ie. Exceptions). Restock determined upon inspection.
- 30-50% Restocking Fee/Refusal -- Product is physically damaged and/or packaging is not intact/damaged for the item(s) being returned or past standard return policy. We also reserve the right to refuse returns, back to the customer, if the conditions of return are not met. (Determined on a case-by-case basis).
- Systems Returns: $400.00 USD minimum fee for all system returns.
Freight charges:
Freight charges for all returns are not refundable. Customer is responsible for shipping costs on all returned items, unless an error of Totalbarcode.com or a manufacturer verified defect.
DOA Policy:
If a product arrives Dead On Arrival (DOA), contact us immediately or fill out the online RMA Request form. Most products (excluding software and consumables) can be returned if DOA within 15 days of invoice. Products can only be exchanged for another product. Customer is responsible for shipping costs on returned items unless noted otherwise by totalbarcode.com. If a product is DOA, these steps must be followed to ensure expedient approval:
- Contact the manufacturer of the product to test and determine the fault of said product.
- Write down the name, contact information, and any incident or case numbers associated with the product.
- Fill out the RMA Form, making sure to put the above information in the notes section or contact the Totalbarcode.com Support Team.
If these steps are not followed fully, the RMA will not be accepted and the product will be shipped back to the originating facility.

$10 shipping fee will be applied to orders totaling less than $25. TotalBarcode.com cannot ship to U.S. territories (Puerto Rico, Guam, etc).
All orders with overnight shipping will include additional shipping charges. Charges will be specified in the checkout page
Saturday delivery not available in all areas.
All orders shipped to an APO or FPO will be charged minimum $20 shipping fee and take at least 3 days to ship.
All orders to Alaska and Hawaii will ship 2-Day Air only.
All orders to Alaska and Hawaii will include a minimal additional shipping charge of $20. Depending on the items an additional shipping charge may be required. A sales representative will contact you regarding any additional charges.
Orders requiring a shipping address change after being processed will be assessed a $10 to $15 fee. This includes any information on the shipping label, such as address, receipient, or attn: line.
Shipping address must be a residential or business address. We will not ship to a PO Box.
All international orders will be shipped through International Checkout. All international orders must be placed through International Checkout at time of purchase. Totalbarcode.com will not ship direct to locations outside the United States and Canada. Please see International Checkout's terms and conditions for details.
Cancellation Policy
We make every effort to ship your item as quickly as possible. On some occasions orders are processed minutes after being placed and are unable to be canceled. If for any reason you need to cancel your order, please contact us immediately. We can not guarantee that we will be able to cancel any orders but we will make every effort possible.
Back Ordered Items
Back ordered items are set to ship as soon as they become available. You will be contacted by email letting you know if any items are backordered. Back ordered items can be exchanged for an in stock item or canceled for a full refund. Please contact [email protected] for additional help.
Price Matching
If you have found a better price for an item at another authorized dealer, we will do everything possible to meet or beat that price. Please email [email protected] the necessary information, including product, price, and website, and we will get back to you quickly.
Price matching is only applicable to identical conditions of sale. The item must be in stock at the other authorized dealer (not a floor sample, "open box" item, refurbished or demo piece) and not be a club "members price" or typographical error. GOVERNING LAW AND JURISDICTION Any dispute arising out of or related to these Terms and Conditions or the sales transaction between MGM and Customer shall be governed by the laws of the State of Washington, without regard to its conflicts of law rules. Specifically, the validity, interpretation, and performance of this agreement shall not be governed by the United Nations Convention on the International Sale of Goods. MGM and Customer consent to the exclusive jurisdiction and the venue of the State Courts of the State of Washington, Whatcom County, to resolve any dispute between them related hereto, and the parities waive all rights to contest this exclusive jurisdiction and venue of such Courts. Finally, the Customer also agrees not to bring any legal action, based upon any legal theory including contract, tort, equity or otherwise, against MGM that is more than one year after the date of the applicable invoice.

SEVERABILITY If any provision contained in this agreement is or becomes invalid, illegal, or unenforceable in whole or in part, such invalidity, illegality, or unenforceability shall not affect the remaining provisions and portions of this agreement, and the invalid, illegal, or unenforceable provision shall be deemed modified so as to have the most similar result that is valid and enforceable under applicable Washington law.

WAIVER The failure of either party to require performance by the other party of any provision of this agreement shall not affect in any way the first party's right to require such performance at any time thereafter. Any waiver by either party of a breach of any provision in this agreement shall not be taken or held by the other party to be a continuing waiver of that provision unless such waiver is made in writing.

ENTIRE AGREEMENT These terms and conditions, together with the MGM invoice respecting the products ordered by Customer, are the complete and exclusive agreement between MGM and Customer, and they supersede all prior or contemporaneous proposals, oral or written, understandings, representations, conditions, warranties, and all other communications between MGM and Customer relating to the subject products. This agreement may not be explained or supplemented by any prior course of dealings or trade by custom or usage.
