The classic SpacePole Screen Mount is probably the most used foundation in mounting POS systems. It provides versatile mount ingo options for a screen or customer display. Optimum screen height can be set on installation and the Screen Mount provides all the screen rotation and tilt necessary in terms of providing an ergonomic workstation that aids operator productivity.
The mount comes in a number of configurations. These include a screen top mount, a back-to-back mount, a swinging arm, adjustable arm, and an elbow arm. All mounts are 75/100 VESA.
Mounting Options
Pole Mount: The classic SpacePole Screen Mount is probably the most used foundation in mounting POS systems. It provides a mount for the screen and a customer display (with an optional adapter).
Top Screen Mount: The top mount is used when the solution requires space for the attachment of other peripherals such as a swing arm for a printer or payment terminal to the SpacePole &ndash; in addition to the screen.
Back-to-Back Screen Mount: Back to back enables two screens to be fitted to one SpacePole. With one screen facing the customer this enables another engagement point at the point of sale. Promotions, loyalty/rewards, and customer information all lend themselves to this configuration.
Swing Arm Mount: Swing Arm provides an ergonomic solution where peripherals or the screen itself is needed to swing between the operator and customer. This allows the customer to view the screen for confirmation of an order, or to rotate the payment terminal from the operator to the customer or vice-versa.
Height Adjustable Arm: The Height Adjustable Arm is an ergonomically designed mounting solution that reduces the possibility of Repetitive Strain Injury (RSI), whilst assisting productivity at the workstation. Where space allows, the height-adjustable arm enables the screen to be raised or lowered to the appropriate eyeline of the operator. It may also be used to mount a keyboard or other peripherals.
Elbow Arm Mount: When extra reach is required, the elbow arm allows even greater accessibility for the customer or second operator. This allows the customer to view the screen for confirmation of an order &ndash; or to rotate the payment terminal from the operator to the customer or vice-versa.
